Amazon adds ?10 minimum spend for UK super-saver delivery

Remember when Amazon lifted the requirement for a minimum spend before you qualified for free delivery? Well, from July 23rd, customers in the UK will be required to spend a minimum of £10 ($15) before they're entitled to the service -- but there are a few exceptions. Purchases of DVDs, Books, Blu-Ray discs, CDs, video games and software won't require a minimum spend, and the company specifically suggests you pick up a paperback alongside a new HDMI cable to get around the rule.
